About Me
I'm Subhechha, a product manager based in Austin, TX.
As a Product thinker, UX storyteller, and creative builder, I thrive at the intersection of development, design, data, and human behavior. With 7+ years of experience shaping consumer and enterprise products, building cross-functional teams, and aligning design with business strategy, I create products that are intuitive, impactful, and grounded in real user needs.
My background in HCI and love for product development help me bring structure to ambiguity—and soul to software. I navigate complexity with empathy and turn insight into action.
Outside of tech, I run a Bengali/Indian food supper club in Austin TX, write children’s books about big feelings, and chase joy (and squirrels) with my dog, Leo.
How I work
Before we get to the work history I wanted to share at a high level what areas I specialize and thrive in. The goal is to showcase how I work with teams to drive customer and business growth depending on the specific needs of a product and team. Here’s where I mostly focus:
Product and growth leadership: Building and coaching empowered teams in safe, fulfilling environments. Developing systems and structures for teams to have the strategic context they need to move quickly to meet the needs of customers and the business. Ethical focus on growing revenue sustainably.
Product management: Developing product vision and strategy, making sure teams work on the right opportunities for customers and the business, designing systems to facilitate quality execution and delivery.
Team topologies and development process design: Understanding the needs of developers and the rest of the business, and collaborating with engineering leaders to design a team structure and development process that fits the culture of the organization and gets everyone involved in an appropriate way.
User experience research & design: I’ve done everything—and work to keep these skills up to date—including heuristic evaluations, usability testing, participatory design, concept testing, and surveys. Content audits, style guides, and content creation, flow diagrams, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and concept development.
